Last year, kids from our area got the opportunity to take a Marine Biology course on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University with the Horizons Summer Youth Enrichment program. The class will be taught again NEXT WEEK (June 14-18).

We will do lots of activities, short lessons, craft projects, and TOUCH TANKS full of live marine organisms. The kids love to actually touch and hold the live animals. They also dig for shells and try to figure out what type of animal lived in it! Science and learning made FUN! You can sign up at http://www.semo.edu/continuinged/horizons/index_17274.htm or call 573-986-6879.
