A Jackson, Missouri band, VonAmp, will be performing at the historic Webster Hall in the East Village of New York City on October 9th, 2010. The concert will be held in the portion of Webster Hall called "The Studio" which carries on the legacy of the 1950s and 60s when Webster Hall became the live recording home of RCA Records, and where legends such as Elvis Presley, Sam Cooke, Ray Charles and Bob Dylan made rock and roll history.
Webster Hall is a 40,000 square ft. landmark nightclub and entertainment venue located in the heart of the historic East Village. Six artists will perform from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The proceeds will help to feed hungry children of the city and supply funds to the NY Food Bank.
Barry Salottolo is the founder of the Youth Arts Forum of New York and the organizer of the concert event, "Kids Helping Kids." Mr. Salottolo said, "VonAmp has been named Featured Artist of the Month (June 2010) and selected by the forum for their exceptional talent.... The Youth Arts Forum would like to congratulate VonAmp and let their supporters know that their talents make them a band with huge potential in the music industry."
