What makes you the most qualified candidate for this position?

My experience at all levels help me make practical decisions. I have a masters degree in educational administration. I have been an advocate of the Jackson R-2 school district for many years. I believe we have a great school district and am looking forward to making things even better.

What do you believe is the greatest challenge facing your school district?

Keeping local control of schools.

If elected, do you have any plans for improving the school district?

Our school is now implementing a strategic plan that will involve members of the community, local educators, and others that care about the district. I want the district to be honest, transparent, and accessible. I am encouraged by the new leadership and if reelected, look forward to new challenges.
