It can help you go to summer camp, buy your uniform and great scout merchandise. through the sale you learn skills such as marketing, merchandising, finance and communication skills. It can help you go to summer camp, buy your uniform and great scout merchandise. through the sale you learn skills such as marketing, merchandising, finance and communication skills. If you are a member of the Jackson Area Girl Scouts a cookie could do so much more if their Service Unit goal is met.

The Girl Scouts of Jackson Service Unit have a goal of 31,058 packages of cookies for the 2013-2014 cookie sale. The 300+ girls of the Jackson Service unit have worked very hard to meet that goal. However, due to extreme bad weather the girls who range in age from 5-18 are still 2800 packages short of meeting this goal.

If the unit makes their goal the Jackson Area Girls would receive $7000. This money would be used to benefit the girls through free events and programs which the troops and girls are usually responsible for paying for themselves.

Can you help? Cookies are available for sale until March 15. If you have any questions or need help finding cookies please contact Beth Seabaugh, Jackson Area Service Unit Cookie Program Manager - 573-450-4723. The Girl Scouts thank you!
