The Jackson chapter of Future Business Leaders of America held their annual installation ceremony for officers for the 2016-17 school year.
The high school FBLA officer team was installed on May 5. These included:
Lynden Sides, President
Jacob Brown, Executive VP
Amy Justis, VP for Awards
Madison Dowdy, Secretary
Zachary Zielinski, Treasurer
Tyler Macke, Public Relations and Business Liaison
Bailey Huff, Public Relations Assistant
Lainey Conklin, Reporter
Braxton Gill, Junior Reporter
Shelby Hency, Social Media/Webmaster
Katie Dobbs, Senior Representative
Kalli Yarbro, Junior Representative
Emily Scott, Sophomore Representative
The chapter works hard to create a challenging Program of Work each year, and the officer team is critical in this effort. Chapter Adviser Tonya Skinner explained, "Some student organizations have officers in name only; our officer team strives to be the best, working hard to achieve greatness each year and I am thrilled about this new group of officers who will lead us in the coming year for the 75th anniversary year of National FBLA."
In addition to Skinner, two other faculty serve as chapter advisers including Ronna Kramer and David Cochrane, business teachers at JHS.
