On February 2, 2017, 53 members of the Jackson High School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America attended the District 15 Leadership Conference on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University. Kalli Yarbro, Jackson FBLA officer, completed her term as District 15 Vice President for FBLA-PBL Relations.

The following members place in the top 5 at District contest. Those with a star (*) have qualified to attend the State Leadership Conference in April in Springfield, Missouri. The top 5 in objective online tests, top 2 in computer-based skills tests, and top 1 in performance/interview events advance to state competition. The Jackson chapter placed in the top 5 in 43 event entries with first place in 17 events.
