The Jackson High School FBLA chapter celebrated FBLA-PBL Week February 5–11, 2017, with daily activities to promote the Future Business Leaders of America. Its mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.
Among the many activities scheduled for this special week were:

Tuesday: FBLA Spirit day (wear FBLA shirts and District medals)
Wednesday: Dress for Success day (business dress) and Adviser Appreciation Day
Thursday: Go Green day
Friday: I Love FBLA day (and Valentine’s social)
Wednesday, a few officers from the chapter went to Jackson City Hall where Mayor Dwain Hahs signed a proclamation declaring the week FBLA week. “The proclamation signing was something that was very important to us because we want everyone in the community to share the passion and excitement we have for FBLA. It also really shows the members how much FBLA has an impact on the community as a whole,” explained chapter president, Lynden Sides.
