In 1866, Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church was organized. The first church was a log building dedicated on Christmas, 1866. However, it proved too small and, on April 19, 1868, a brick church was dedicated. In 1871 we became a member of the Missouri Synod. The house of worship was replaced with another brick church which was dedicated on Oct. 18, 1900. In order to preserve the building it was resurfaced with perma-stone in 1950. With the grace of God we are now celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Immanuel Lutheran Church.
