Hoarfrost atop Mt. LaConte
In October 2006 we climbed Mt. LaConte in Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The night before our climb a cloud descended on the mountain and then the temperature dropped rapidly resulting in a hoarfrost. The photo shows the frost.
