Historic Preservation Month Walking Tour May 31

This year's Historic Preservation Walking Tour will be Thursday, May 31 at 6 p.m., highlighting both current and previously-existing buildings on Broadway in Cape Girardeau.

The purpose of this walking tour is to highlight sites that have been preserved through private investment and government action. Each year in May to honor Historic Preservation Month, Cape Girardeau's Historic Preservation Commission sponsors a walking tour of a historic area in the city.

Beginning at the corner of Broadway and Pacific streets, the walking tour will proceed east towards Middle Street.
