Buddy Walks were created in 1995 to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. This year, at least 250,000 people are expected to participate in 280 Buddy Walk events. The Heartland Down Syndrome Association was established in 2006 to provide support, advocacy, and activities for families of children with Down syndrome in this area.

Pre-registration is appreciated. Please email Matt Jedlinski, coordinator, at heartlandbuddywalk@yahoo.com for questions or to register. Come help us celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month and spend a fun day with family and friends as we generate support for those with Down syndrome.
