Giving the Gift of Sight

On Oct. 31, 2015, Leet EyeCare hosted its First 5K/Fun Run benefiting Optometry Giving Sight. Optometry Giving Sight is the only global fundraising initiative that specifically targets the prevention of blindness and impaired vision due to uncorrected refractive error. More than 600 million people around the world are blind or vision impaired because they do not have access to the eye examination and glasses they need. With the help of our gracious sponsors and participants, Leet Eyecare was able to send a donation to Optometry Giving Sight in the amount of $2,294.96. With this donation, Optometry Giving Sight will be able to train eye care professionals and establish vision centers for sustainability to deliver eye care and low cost glasses to those in need.
