Girls Scouts Celebrate 102 years in scouting. Proclamation signed by Mayor

March 12th, 2014, marks the 102nd anniversary of Girl Scouts of the USA, founded by Juliette Gordon Low in 1912 in Savannah, Georgia.

"Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that I, Harry E. Rediger, Mayor of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, do hereby proclaim the week of March 9th-15th, 2014 as Girl Scout Week!"
