FUN-damentals of Volleball: Register Now

The City of Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department and the Southeast Missouri State University volleyball team are accepting registrations for Fundamentals of Volleyball. This one-day, introductory clinic is designed to teach the fundamentals of volleyball and have fun at the same time.

This is an excellent chance for those who are interested in the game of volleyball to meet the Redhawks' players and coaching staff. The rules, techniques, serving, passing and other various skills will be taught throughout the clinic.

Registration deadline is Feb. 21 by noon. The date is Sunday, Feb. 26 at the Osage Centre from 1 -- 3 p.m. for girls and boys ages 7 -- 13. The day of check in will be from 12 -- 12:45 p.m. The cost is $15 per person and includes a clinic T-shirt. For more information, please contact Amy Roth, recreation coordinator, at 573-339-6742.
