FISH FRY & FUN NIGHT-July 31st
Plan to attend the 1st ever Jackson County Farm Bureau Foundation Fundraiser! The event will be at the American Legion in Murphysboro Saturday, July 31st from 6-8pm.
Fill up! The Big Muddy Fryers will be volunteering their service for the meal. The meal is fish, fried potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw, bread, cake, and tea or lemonade. The cash bar will also be open for the night.
Sit and relax! We will be hearing some good oldies music with entertainment provided by Glenn Schlimpert and also by The Geritol Posse.
Win! There will be a 50/50 drawing along with several silent auction items to be given out to top bidders that night! If interested in helping towards our fundraiser, we would be happy to accept any donation for the silent auction. Thanks to all who have donated thus far.
Tickets are $7.50 for adults (12 yrs & older), $3.50 for children (4-11yrs) and free for under 3 yrs. You can get tickets at the door or in advance at the Jackson County Farm Bureau located at 220 N. 10th St., Murphysboro. Call 618-684-3129 for more information. The Jackson County Farm Bureau Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit committed to promoting agriculture in Jackson County through educational and leadership programs. The Foundation provides funds for scholarships for agricultural studies, educational classroom projects & materials, and seminars addressing scientific and leadership purposes in agriculture.
