First turkey

Emily Harris, age 11, of Cape Girardeau shot her first turkey during youth season. It weighed 27 lbs and had a 7 inch beard and 1 1/2 inch spurs. She and her uncle, Kevin Saupe of Perryville, Mo., were hunting on her grandparents farm in Shawneetown, Mo. Emily's parents are Bryan and Melissa Harris. She also has a younger sister, Elsie.
