First Friday Coffee to Feature Ballot Issue

The First Friday Coffee sponsored by the Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce will actually be on the second Friday of the month due to the Fourth of July holiday. Scheduled from 7-9 a.m. July 9 in the ShowMe Center, the program topic is the Transportation Trust Fund 4 issue to be on the ballot August 3rd. The speakers will be Mayor Harry Rediger and City Manager Scott Meyer.

The breakfast will be hosted by local web design company, Element 74, and KFVS12 TV. Attendees will learn about the job search capability of KFVS12.com and receive a certificate to attend a workshop sponsored by Element 74 entitled, "10 Web Strategies to Grow Revenue." The certificate waives the $25 cost of the workshop to be held August 25 from noon to 1:00 p.m. in the Chamber conference room.
