CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (December 29, 2022) --- Elite Travel, Inc. travel advisor, Jamie Shultz, had the honor of being aboard Lindblad Expedition’s newest ship, National Geographic Resolution, for a 10-day cruise to Antarctica. From Ushuaia, Argentina, Shultz sailed through the rough waters of the Drake Passage.

Once on Antarctic lands, naturalists educated Shultz on the importance and beauty of the continent. She visited Deception Island that holds an active volcano and witnessed four different species of penguins- including the rare Emperor penguin.

“This expedition was not only a once in a lifetime trip, but a great way to expand my knowledge as a travel advisor. This trip especially helped grow my experience with eco-friendly tourism. We visited these magnificent, untouched locations with the idea of preserving its beauty. The best way to explore is to leave it unblemished to allow others the opportunity to visit the Antarctic, too,” Shultz said.
