Another way you can become an advocate is to attend the SB 40 board meetings and become informed about what their current plans are for Cape Girardeau County's surplus of SB40 funds.

If you are the parent of an individual with disabilities I would urge you to get involved in order to encourage the use of a portion of the surplus dollars of SB40 funds for inclusive practices here in Cape County.

Board members are appointed by the Cape Girardeau County Commissioners. You may stop by the County Commissioners offices in order to apply, or for further information.
