I believe in the potential of every child and believe that we have to give them all of the tools available to succeed. I also believe that we have to be willing to put forththe time and effort to lead them in the right direction. We have to come together and work not for our own goals, but for the best outcome for all of our children.
Our greatest challenge is the sense of despondency that is in our district. Until we can correct this our other efforts will fail. We have to find the motivation and commitment that we expect of our children.Status quo is not good enough.
I would like to see a long term budget that allows us to have updated books, uniforms, technology in a timely fashion. Our budget has not changed in many years and we need to constantly be looking for ways to make our dollar go farther fairly. There also has to be accountability and responsibility from every member of this district. We cannot make educated decisions for our children if we are not actively involved.
