On Saturday evening over 150 friends and family gathered to celebrate the 100th birthday of Delos Sebaugh, a lifelong member of the Daisy community. The gathering was held in Daisy at the New Salem United Methodist Church. Mr. Sebaugh gave the group his advice on living a long and happy life. The event was attended not only by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren but by a younger brother, Ovis Sebaugh, 95 of Sikeston. Memories that stretched back through a century were shared as guests relived old times. This centurian recalled horse and buggy days, the family's first Model T, the railroad through Daisy and the coming of electricity. No wonder electronic digital transfer seems absurd.
