City of Roses Half Marathon/5K/Fun Run

The Cape Girardeau Road Runners in conjuction with Health Point Fitness and River Eagle Distributing will be hosting its 29th annual City of Roses Half Marathon/5K/Fun Run on Sunday September 20th at 7:30 am. The Half Marathon course starts at Health Point in Cape, winds through historic "Old Town Cape", past the river murals, under the Bill Emerson bridge, near the Southeast Missouri State River Campus down the Cape LaCroix Creek bike trail, through surrounding neighborhoods and back to HealthPoint Plaza. There are moderate hills on the course. The 5K course will start and finish at HealthPoint Plaza after looping through the surrounding neighborhoods.
