I am a member of the Jackson City Park Board and we are planning a special event. It is called "A Joyful Noise" this event will be held Dec. 23 at 6:00pm at the area off of Parkview Dr. by Rotary Lake. Dr. Dwight Johnson and Tom Anderson are in charge of the event. All local church choirs have been invited to attend. They will proceed by walking from their churches while singing! Once there, all choirs along with Jackson High School choir will sing TOGETHER with the public, led by a brass ensemble, beautiful Christmas songs. There will be free coffee, hot chocolate and cookies! A live manger scene will capture your interest. Santa Claus will be coming via fire truck to bring baby Jesus a gift! All of this is possible by lots of community participation. What a wonderful way to celbrate Christmas! (Weather permitting)
