Since the response has been relatively light at this point in time, the Dinner has been moved to the Marquette Terrace located at the top of the Marquette Tower. The Dinner Menu will feature two meat items (select beef or other), one starch item and two vegetables, salad and dessert with a cash bar. The cost of this dinner will be $32.50 per person. Dick Withers from the Class of '58 will act as Master of Ceremonies and will introduce and/or read Resumes of Prominent Central Graduates following the dinner at about 8:00 PM. If you feel that you should be recognized or know someone who you think should be recognized, please let me know or send your information to Dick Withers, withers@swbell.net Please submit your fee per person, to Wayne Boswell, 11219 Blanc Vineyard Ct, Las Vegas, NV 89138.

I am planning to have the Golf Tournament at The Jaycees Golf Course in Cape Girardeau, MO at about Noon on Oct. 8, 2011. Green Fees will be Approx. $35-$40 per player depending on the number of players that sign up. This will be a Scramble type tournament with a maximum of 144 players where each player will hit a drive and then each player will play his next shot from the best position of the previous four shots until the ball is holed. Golfers over 65 will play from the front tees, golfers from 55 to 64 will play from the middle tees and golfers younger than 55 will play from the back tees. To sign up for this event, send an E-mail to me at golferonriver@yahoo.com or for golfers without E-mail service, call me at 702-233-2283. Green Fees will be paid at the Course.

I have also contacted Mike Cowan, Ph. D., Principal at Central High School and Terry Kitchen, Director of Athletics at Central Jr. High and they have indicated that tours of these two facilities would be available for attendees of these events on the morning of Oct. 8, 2011, for those who cannot attend the tours which are scheduled to occur on Oct. 22, 2011.

Don't hesitate, since time is very limited, sign up for these events as soon as possible and forward this message to friends you think might be interested!
