Cape School Board members recognized

The week of January 22-28, 2012, is Missouri School Board Recognition Week and Cape Girardeau Public School Board members were recognized at the January board meeting. A proclamation signed by Governor Jay Nixon and read at the meeting recognized Missouri School Boards as an essential element to provide a system of quality public education in Missouri. School Board Members pictured above, left to right, are Vice-President Tony Smee, Paul Nenninger, President Stacy Kinder, Philip Moore, Deneké Murphy, Kyle McDonald, Don Call and Superintendent Dr. James Welker.
