When Taylre Scott began playing softball at the age of eight she had no idea the game would lead to stardom at Cape Central High School and a scholarship to Mineral Area College.
Recently the high school senior signed a letter of intent to play catcher and first base at MAC in Park Hills Mo. She was selected to the All District, All Conference, and All Southeast Missouri Region teams this year. Scott plans to pursue a bachelors degree in nursing or radiology upon graduation from MAC.
