Cape Central's Pittman signs basketball contract

Sadie Pittman, center, a point-guard on the Cape Central High School (CHS) Women's Basketball Team, will be shooting hoops for North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC), in Mason City, Iowa this fall. Observing a recent contract signing are, left to right, NIACC Women's Basketball Coach John Oestel, CHS Athletic Director Lance Tollison, Pittman, CHS Women's Basketball Coach Sherri Shirrell, and Pittman's mother, Linda Alford-Taylor. Pittman's impressive record includes All-District, All-Conference, All-Region and others. Under Coach Oertel's leadership, NIACC Women's Basketball has consistently received top-four seeding in regional tournaments and has more than 400 wins to its credit
