Cape Career and Technology (CTC) DECA Member Caleb Strickland attended the 66th Annual International Career Development Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah, last month. Strickland was one of just 23 delegates chosen from Missouri to join the over 800 members from around the world to participate in the Leadership Development Academy. Students at the conference participated in a two-day intensive training program where they learned skills related to local chapter management, membership recruitment, effective communication skills, public speaking, mentoring and officer training. CTC Marketing Instructor Michael Baremore attended the conference with Strickland.
