On Saturday, December 6th Centenary United Methodist Church hosted a wonderful morning of food and adventure at their annual "Breakfast in Bethlehem" celebration. Free to all who entered, there was a delicious warm breakfast. The Family Life Center was transformed into the ancient village of Bethlehem. There were tents with activities that were representative of businesses in the time of Christ's birth. Shopkeepers wore authentic costumes. There were also camels, sheep and a donkey outside. In honor of the season there was also a small drama production of the Christmas story entitled "A Christmas Prayer". Breakfast in Bethlehem is presented by the committee on education with emphasis by the department of childrens ministries.
