David Soto and Dawn Seabaugh of the Cape Girardeau County Board of Realtors recently presented $16,800 to the City of Cape Girardeau to help with implementation of their strategic planning efforts for the downtown Cape Girardeau Area. Of the contribution, $15,000 was provided by the National Association of Realtors as part of its Smart Growth Grant Program. The additional $1,800 was collected from a trivia night fundraiser attended by local Realtors, affiliated business members, their friends, and business associates.
