Lutheran Family and Children's Services of Missouri, Southeast Region, was the 2012 recipient of the Barnes & Noble annual Holiday Book Drive. Barnes & Noble in the Westfield West Park Mall in Cape Girardeau hosted the annual book drive, which began November 1, 2012 and ended January 1, 2013. Lutheran Family and Children's Services received nearly 2000 books for children of all ages, which will be distributed to LFCS families throughout the year. Barnes & Noble hosts this event each year in an effort to support literacy by providing books to children in need across the country. On behalf of the children and families we serve in Southeast Missouri, LFCS would like to thank Barnes and Noble, and our community, for this generous donation.
