Belinda Schearf of Glass Art by MSM, LLC Cape Girardeau, Missouri created a modern stained glass panel of the Illinois Bald Knob Cross of Peace with a three-dimensional appearance.
During her first ever visit to the cross this spring, the restored cross was such a thing of beauty, it touched her heart and she felt a need and order from God to do something creative. She took a photograph of what the future, finished plans were for the cross and the grounds surrounding the cross that was posted at the visitor center. In the next two months, the stained glass panel came to colorful, vivid life under her skilled craftsmanship. Belinda has worked in stained glass for 18 years and her love and expertise for the art is well represented in this stained glass panel that she donated to the Bald Knob Cross of Peace site for all to enjoy for generations to come. Presentation of the panel by the MSM proprietors, Dick McClard and Schearf was held on July 27, 2013 accompanied by GWRRA MO-I motorcycle riders.
