Alpha Kappa Psi has been raising funds in March and will continue to fundraise in April for the Relay for Life, in Cape Girardeau, MO., which takes place April 28. The 17 members of Alpha Kappa Psi have signed up to walk in shifts from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. to raise money for cancer research and to raise awareness for the disease. In addition, multiple members teamed up with Culver's in Cape Girardeau on Tuesday, March 27 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. to help put money towards each of their individual Relay for Life fundraising goals. Ten percent of the profit Culver's made that night will be donated to the cause.

Kate Bridegwater, the secretary of the Zeta Omicron chapter said, "Service is one of our core values and we feel that this is an opportunity to support people in need."
