2 years ago we adopted Bailey from the Humane Society in Cape and she instantly became the heart of our home. Last week a friend of mine ran a story about the Caruthersville Humane Society coming to Petco in Cape and said we should stop by. Always wanting to support homeless dogs I went and that's where I met Bruiser, now know as Carter named after my Moms Dad. He was so cute and loving that we decided to add him to our family and brought him home. He and Bailey bonded instantly, sharing toys and food. We wanted Bailey to have a brother but I think she treats him like her son. Its only been a few days but what a joy its been bring home another rescue. I wish everyone would visit the Humane Society and and open their hearts to a dog or cat in need of a loving home. Trust me when I say this, they change your life and give so much more love than you can imagine.
