1. What is the most important issue facing Woodland Public Schools? The loss of state and federal funding, trying to keep all of our teachers and staff and keeping the kids well educated and in school until graduation without raising any taxes. I understand we have lost a bunch of good teachers already.
2. Funding the increase to the school foundation formula is a point of debate among state politicians. What should the district do to prepare for a potential shortfall in funding? Tightening the wallet and no excess spending to a point where we don't cheat our children out of a good education.
3. What in your background or education makes you qualified for this office? I am a parent, a concerned citizen, a lifelong resident of the Woodland School District, and a graduate of Woodland Class of 1985.
