School Board Secretary currently

__What is the most important issue facing Scott City Public Schools?__

Education is our main focus at Scott City School. We need to continue to work within our budget to provide our students with the materials needed to succeed. There are always new guidelines/expectations to be met.

__What in your background or education makes you qualified for this office?__

I, as well as my husband and two children, are all graduates of Scott City School. I have been honored to serve the school district for the past 15 years, and am very proud of our school district.

__How do you think the board should move forward with a possible no-tax bond issue? If passed, how should the money be spent?__

I am in favor of the no-tax bond issue, and feel we have many campus improvements that it could be used for-- roofing issues as well as new projects. We are forming a committee of community members, current staff, etc for them to evaluate and offer their ideas/suggestions.

__Do you think the Scott City School District is a good place for teachers to work? Why or why not?__

The Scott City School District is an excellent place for teachers. We have a supportive community as well, and our teachers are the best. The school family that we currently have, consider our childrens education and safety as their top priorities.
