The residence of Mr. and Mrs. Rush H. Limbaugh at 814 North Henderson avenue is mute evidence of the destructiveness of the 1949 tornado. The top sectioin was bown away and the interior ruined. Mr. Limbaugh and Mrs. Limbaugh were away at the time attending the wedding of their son, Rush Jr., at Kennett and did not know of the storm until reaching hom more than an hour after it passed. century of life in Southeast Missouri. Among the topics Limbaugh touched on was the partial destruction of his home at 814 N. Henderson by the 1949 tornado.
