Today

New Salem United Methodist Church in Daisy, Mo., will hold a fall supper at 4 p.m. Cost is $6.50 for adults and $3 for children 6-11.

Building dedication at 2 p.m. for Fruitland Community Church off Highway 61 in Fruitland, Mo. The church was constructed with volunteer labor over the summer.

Sunday

Bethel General Baptist Church west of Zalma, Mo., will celebrate its homecoming with special services. Worship is at 10:45 a.m., with Bill Elledge as speaker. A noon potluck meal will follow with special singing by the Sitze family at 1:30 p.m.

Lord's Acre dinner and auction at Millersville United Methodist Church. Dinner is served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with an auction beginning at 1 p.m. All proceeds will benefit upkeep of the church parsonage.

Kick-off worship service for Fruitland Community Church at 10:30 a.m. at new location off Highway 61.

Monday

Rebekah Circle of Centenary United Methodist Church meets at 6:30 p.m. in the activities room of the education building. Participants will take part in a bazaar workshop.

United Methodist Women of Third Street Church will meet at 1 p.m. at the church. Oma Brooks will present a program, with special music by the Rev. Janet Hopkins. Rosely Bechel will present a devotional.

Wednesday

First Presbyterian Church continues Wonderful Wednesday program, with meal at 5:45 p.m. and program after to be presented by John Cook. A children's program also will be provided.

Friday

Shrimp sampler meal served from 4:30-7 p.m. at Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City, Mo. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children 6-12. Proceeds benefit the organ and grounds and cemetery funds.

Fish fry dinner sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. All-you-can-eat buffet meal served from 4-7 p.m. Cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 6-12. Carry-outs are $7. Proceeds will benefit the St. Augustine parish in Kelso, Mo.
