As summer approaches, I can't help but think of my favorite summertime treat: fresh peaches. There's just nothing better (though a fresh, vine-ripened tomato comes close). We made peaches our featured ingredient for the May issue of Flourish, highlighting savory and sweet ways you can use them.

But peaches also make great cocktails, and this peach margarita recipe will be perfect for a Cinco de Mayo party! Bonus: Because it calls for frozen peaches, you can enjoy it any time of year.

Frozen Peach Margarita

Ingredients:

1 package (16-ounces) frozen sliced peaches

3/4 cup tequila

1/4 cup triple sec

1/4 cup fresh lime juice (from 3 limes)

1/4 cup sugar

1 cup ice cubes

Directions:

In a blender, combine frozen sliced peaches, tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, sugar, and ice cubes. Puree until smooth (stop blender and stir if necessary) and serve immediately.
