The location may be different, but customers of the new Pasta House Co. restaurant can expect the same good food and great service they enjoyed for 24 years at the West Park Mall location, restaurant owners say.

The restaurant moved to its new location in mid-January, in the building adjacent to Schnucks at 2406 William St.

"We couldn't be any more excited about our new location," said Ed Goergen, who, along with Steve Welkener, owns the restaurant. "We had a great 24 years at the mall, but we look forward to expanding our sales here with carryout and catering."

Manager Chris Menteer said the Pasta House Co. will continue to offer its full menu of Italian and American favorites, including its famous Pasta House Co. salad and baby loaves of bread.

Diners who enjoy wine, beer or other alcoholic beverages with their meal will continue to have a full-service bar available, but now with the option of sitting at the bar to enjoy their favorite drink.

Another new option to guests during nice weather will be outdoor seating on the new covered patio.

The restaurant's signature dish, Chicken Flamingo, is named after the famed Flamingo Cafe that was located in the central west end in St. Louis in the mid-1980s and was owned by The Pasta House Co.
