What is the most important issue facing Delta?

Probably the city water is the most pressing. The board is at present taking some steps toward fixing it, but there is still much work to be done.

I personally would like to help clean up Delta. The citizens of Delta would profit from that. I would also like to see new business in Delta. As a young person I remember a time when Delta had two grocery stores, three restaurants and three service stations. I know every town is in trouble right now, even the larger towns, but I would like to see some improvement there. There are wonderful people living in Delta and we need to come together and make our town a town to be proud of. I personally have lived in and around Delta most of my life and I am glad to have lived my life with the people of Delta.

What in your education or background makes you qualified for this office?

I have lived in and around Delta most of my life and attended Delta schools. I went the first six years at Randles and then to, what was then a brand-new school, at Delta R-5 elementary.

Why are you better qualified than your opponent(s)?

I feel I would have more time to give to the city.
