What is the most important issue facing the Millersville Fire District?
I think at this point our most important issue is finding grant monies available for the explosion we currently have in personnel. We just don't have enough. I have worked diligently to make our department grant ready over the past three years that I have been a board member to keep all reports current with Homeland Security and the Department of Conservation here in Missouri. I hope my efforts can continue with the outcome of the election.
What in your education or background makes you qualified for this office?
I have been a firefighter and first responder for seven years. I have an associate of applied science degree in the medical field. My training in the fire department and on my job has taught me how to ensure that everyone from the patient on a medical call to the firefighter standing next to me have a trust in my qualifications to do this job. After all without trust, what do you have?
Why are you better qualified than your opponent(s)?
My opponent is a former stand-in board member who quit the board when the going got tough. I have never been a quitter. I will stand up for the citizens of our district when I am needed and will see the job through to the end.
