MURPHYSBORO, Ill. -- "Voices of the Civil War," a traveling exhibit on a national tour, continues at the Gen. John A. Logan Museum in Murphysboro through Nov. 25.

Sponsored by the History Channel and produced by the Civil War Preservation Trust, the exhibit provides first-person accounts of the war told with video, displays and interactive computer programs. Based on diaries, letters, memoirs and photographs, the exhibit opened in May 2000 at Ford's Theatre in Washington, D.C.

The exhibit is open from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 1-4 p.m. Sundays. It will be closed Thanksgiving Day. Admission is free.
