__What is the most important issue facing the Kelly School District? What can be done about it?__
I would say the issue of money, as with most schools the lack of finances causes many struggles with trying to make a budget to fund all liabilities and keeping all extra curricular activities and good teachers at our school.
Hopefully we can find money thru goverment programs along with the best uses of our school taxes to keep our best teachers at Kelly along with keeping a great standard of education for our students.
__What in your background or education makes you qualified for this office?:__
I have had several jobs along with owning my own company which have helped me understand the challanges an organization might face and the give and take which is required to work for the best of all involved. I am very confident in coming up with new ideas for situations and also very open to listning and working with fellow board members and the community to reach the best outcome.
__Where do you stand on the issue of Common Core standards?:__
I don't think from what I know about the requiremnts it is the best program for learning. I still need more information about the program from the school and teachers to make a good informed decision.
__Do you think the Kelly School District is a good place for teachers to work? Why or why not?:__
Yes, I think our facilities, students, community and parents in the school district should all make teachers want to be apart of the Kelly family.
