Employer: Union Pacific Railroad

Businesses owned, all or part: Landowner

Previous offices held or sought: Current Director of the Illmo Special Road District.

What is the most important issue facing the Illmo Special Road District?

The most important issue is to have someone elected to office who isn't continually striving to make the district better. Since being in office we have blacktopped all gravel roads and resurfaced a majority of the others. Updated all snow removal equipment to clear roads faster and Mowing equipment to enhance the right-of way appearance. Our goal is to do what is the most beneficial and in the best interest of the taxpayers and residents.

What in your background or education makes you qualified for this office?

I feel that I'm qualified for the position because as a resident of the district I understand the importance of putting your tax dollars to work. I enjoy helping people on any problem they may be having and working on a solution that everyone's pleased with. Before going to work for Union Pacific Railroad in 2005 I worked in highway construction for Missouri Department of Transportation.
