Hi-Tech Automotive's Tom Barrows is the president of the SEMO Chapter of the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of Missouri.

A trusted automotive repair service can be a very valuable asset to any vehicle owner. Tom Barrows of Hi-Tech Automotive ensures his own work and the work of his employees is top quality. They utilize the latest technologies to get the job done the right way.

Hi-Tech Automotive, located at 758 Enterprise St. in Cape Girardeau, has been in business for 25 years and is the only AAA-approved auto repair shop in the city. Barrows said the approval means the service provided has to meet high standards because it is monitored very closely. His shop is also ASE certified, and the employees have a combined 100 years of service to offer customers.

Barrows is an ASE-certified master tech and the president of the SEMO Chapter of the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of Missouri.

"I like to emphasize the importance of training and staying connected with my industry," Barrow said, "because both yield benefits for my business and most importantly, my customers."

Barrows said he believes investing in yourself always yields a profit, so he is quick to stay current on the newest available repair services.

Hi-Tech Automotive offers general automotive repair of foreign and domestic vehicles, state-of-the-art testing equipment, computer diagnostic service, fuel injection service, brake and transmission service and complete air conditioning services. The business also offers AAA Member and fleet service discounts.

In 2010, Barrows said Hi-Tech Automotive will unfortunately say goodbye to a valued employee, Mike Ringwald. Ringwald has been with the shop over 10 years.

"We will miss him dearly and want to say thank you for his hard work and service over the years," Barrows said.
