With everything that happened in Ferguson, our school had an open forum to promote conversation about diversity. We were able to speak on the issues that were bothering us in a civilized manner.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? Why?
I would go to Brooklyn, New York, to see my younger siblings, a brother and sister. I don't get to see them very often.
What's one subject you wish you knew more about? Why?
History. My parents always told me that if you don't know about history, you are bound to repeat it. If we knew more about our past, it would help us in our future to get where we need to be.
Feb. 26 is Tell a Fairy Tale Day. What's your favorite fairy tale and why?
"Cinderella." I like the Grimm Brothers' version because the evil stepsisters get their eyes gouged out by birds. I think that is more fair, because they get what's coming to them instead of getting to live happily ever after.
When you look back at high school, what memory pops into your head?
I think back to my German class and the first day of Oktoberfest. My teacher always showed up in lederhosen, the traditional German outfit.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? Why?
I would go back to Germany. I've been there twice in southern Germany, but I would go north up to the North Sea and areas I haven't visited. German is one of my majors.

Archaeology. I'm an anthropology major as well, and archaeology is one of the sub-fields I have studied a little bit.

"The Swan Princess." It's the story of a girl that's turned into a swan by an evil sorcerer. It's based off a ballet. I'm a theater major and I really like dance.

In my senior year at Fall Festival, I had my first acting experience that I ever did. We had to do a skit; I was Mary Poppins and I got to fly. My grandpa was pulling the cable.

I would really like to go to Japan. I've always been fascinated with the Japanese culture since I was 12. I watch a lot of Japanese cartoons.

Languages. I would love to learn a lot of new languages. I know a little bit of Spanish, but if I could have a super power, knowing lots of languages would be mine.

When you look back at high school, what memory pops into your head?
I was on the homecoming court at Egyptian High School. I didn't win, but it's a nice memory. We were dressed up in the suits, walking with the girls in the nice gowns.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? Why?
Australia. It's about as far as you can get away. I love their accent, and it's a neat place and culture. I always liked the movie "Crocodile Dundee" as a kid, so I would like to go check it out.
What's one subject you wish you knew more about? Why?
Economics. Just the economy and knowing how to work it and put your money where it needs to be at the right times.
