ST. LOUIS -- The Tony-winning musical "contact" arrives at the Fox Theatre Oct. 30 for a week-long run.
The show won the Tony for Best Musical last year along with the Drama Desk Award, Outer Critics Circle Award and Drama League Award for Best Musical.
Three sensual stories about people in the wild pursuit of love are told entirely through dance. The music ranges from Rodgers & Hart's "My Heart Stood Still" to works by Tchaikovsky, Bizet, Robert Palmer, Dean Martin and the Beach Boys.
The cast includes 24 dancers/actors. Director/choreographer Susan Strohman directed and choreographed the current Broadway revival of "The Music Man." She also has created ballets for the New York City Ballet and the Martha Graham Dance Company.
She also directed and choreographed the current record-breaking production of "The Producers."
