What is the most important issue facing the East County Fire District?

One of the most important issues for East County Fire District is the safety of the firefighters and EMTs. This can be accomplished by training and having the best equipment possible within the district's budget. Every taxpayer can benefit from the department. You never know when you may need assistance.

What in your education or background makes you qualified for this office?

In the past I've worked with the school system in many areas' from volunteering with the teachers to holding a position with the Parents-Teachers Organization. You learn to listen to many different people on many issues and then compile all the information to be presented. You need to be open-minded and help make the right decisions for all concerned.

Why are you better qualified than your opponent(s)?

Actively attending the board meetings for over two years. I've been able to listen and learn from past and present personnel.
