What is the most important issue facing the Oran School Board?
Currently we are facing the need for new lighting in our senior high school and gymnasium. It will most likely be our next project. I feel as a whole the Oran School District is in great financial shape and we have a great teaching staff and administration staff.
What in your education or background makes you qualified for this office?
I graduated from Oran High School. I have raised four children who went to and graduated from Oran High School. I have served nine years on this board, and in that time we have been able to build a new elementary/junior high school. I have sat on committee to hire a new superintendent and also sat on committee to discuss and set up a new curriculum for our school.
Why are you better qualified than your opponent(s)?
I will not say I am better qualified than any of the other opponents, but I will restate that I have served nine years on the board. If experience means anything, then I do have one qualification that the other opponents do not.
